All Intellitec instructors are ASE Certified, and IntelliTec is a Snap-on partner school. You’ll train on Snap-on diagnostic platforms and tools with guidance and direction from their staff of Snap-on certified instructors. You will even receive a set of Snap-on tools and a tool chest prior to graduation.
After you complete the automotive technician program, you will be prepared to sit for various ASE (Automotive Services Excellence) exams, as well as the Snap-on certification exams. According to the US Department of Labor, people who successfully finish formal postsecondary training programs or obtain ASE certification should have the best work prospects.
Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and abilities needed to perform well in an entry-level job within the automotive service and/or repair industries.
After successfully finishing your course at IntelliTec College’s auto mechanic school, graduates will be able to work with various vehicle types by performing maintenance (oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, etc.), repairs (brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, etc.), running and interpreting diagnostic and troubleshooting routines. They will also have demonstrated competency in working with brakes, suspension systems, manual and automatic transmissions, engine, starting and charging systems, climate control systems, emissions, etc.
