Automotive Training Center is dedicated to delivering the highest quality education in automotive technical programs and marine service technology programs for students seeking to acquire the skills and knowledge required for employment in the fields of automotive, collision, diesel technologies, and marine service technology.

Successful graduates of the Automotive Training Center will not only attain a high quality of knowledge of the theory underlying the technical systems they study, but they will also demonstrate competence in the performance of required tasks through meaningful and relevant shop work.

 

ATC offers diploma programs in the areas of automotive, diesel, collision repair, and marine service technology. Students may specialize in the following areas: Computer and Onboard Diagnostics, High Performance, or Diesel Engines. Programs are 40 to 72 weeks in length, combining technical classroom instruction with hands-on shop experience.

Students successfully completing the program also earn their PA State Inspection License, PA State Emissions Inspector License, and MACS Air Conditioning Certification.

Automotive Technology Programs

When you receive your diploma, you’ll be highly skilled and qualified — to meet the needs of today’s automotive industry.

  • Automotive Mechanic. To enable a graduate of this program to acquire sufficient technical knowledge and experience in the general aspects of automotive diagnostics and repair to be employable as an entry-level automotive technician in any type of dealership, service center, or general repair shop.
  • Specialized Automotive Technology. To enable a graduate of this program to acquire sufficient technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of automotive diagnostics and repair, with a specialization in engine performance and diagnostics, to be employable as an entry-level automotive technician in any type of dealership, service center, or general repair shop.
  • Collision Repair. To enable a graduate of this program to acquire sufficient technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of diagnosis and repair of collision damage – including mechanical and electrical components and air conditioning systems – to obtain employment as an entry-level technician in a dealership or collision reconditioning specialty shop.
  • Advanced Automotive Technology (ADAT). To enable a graduate of this program to acquire sufficient technical knowledge and experience in diagnostics and repair with a broader scope of advanced specialization in the areas of engine performance, diagnostics, diesel, and hi-performance technology so as to be employable as an entry-level automotive or diesel technician in any type of dealership, service center, general repair shop, or machine shop.

Marine Mechanic

To enable a graduate of this program to acquire sufficient technical knowledge and experience in all aspects of marine service to obtain entry-level employment as a marine service technician competent in inboard gasoline and diesel engines, outboard engines, and the support systems and sub-systems found on most pleasure or commercial watercraft.

Exton, PA

Automotive Training Center is situated on a 5-acre suburban campus in Exton, PA, the heart of Chester County, one of the fastest-growing areas in Pennsylvania. A large parking area provides ample free parking for all students.

The school is a convenient commute from most areas in the southeast and south-central Pennsylvania, northern Maryland and Delaware, and southern New Jersey via major highways including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Routes 30, 100, 113, and 202.

Warminster, PA

Automotive Training Center – Warminster, PA Campus is situated on 10.5 acres in Warminster, Bucks County, one of the fastest growing suburban areas in Pennsylvania. A large parking area provides ample free parking for all students.

The school is a convenient commute from most areas in southeast Pennsylvania and central and southern New Jersey via major highways including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Street Road (Routes 95 and 611).
